- Updated 13 February 2025: v146198 Kreide Update Hot Fix -

- Mod is still on the older v146198. An update is in progress but will take some time. -

- You can still play the mod by reverting your game to the previous version. -

To do that right click on the game in your steam library, go to Properties and then Betas. On the top right of the window click on the arrow with none and select the compat_146198 instead. The game will now download the previous version and you will be able to play the mod.


Mod focussed on creating Divisions of the Iran Iraq War 1980 -1988.
The Iran Iraq war was a bloody and horrible war and the longest conventional one of the 20th Century. Both Sides used an interesting mix of Eastern and Western Military Equipment. Among others F14 Tomcats, AH-1J Cobras, Chieftain Mk 5Ps, MiG 29s, T72s, AMX-30 AuF1s (to name some of the flashy stuff).

One of the best equipt Armored Divisions of the Regular iranian Army (Artesh). Has lots of Chieftain and Scorpion Tanks. Supportet by M109 and M107 Artillery, Big Mechanized Infantry and Recon Squads with mostly G3 Rifles and some Dragon missiles. Able to call in AH1J Cobra Helicopters, F4 Phantoms and F5E Tiger II Jets.



Irans 21st Division was build by consolidating 2 Imperial Guard Divisions. It has lots of "Mechanized" Infantry with what most would consider APCs. Only a few Chieftains and more older M60/M48 Tanks are in its inventory . It is supported by some Special Recon Elements with GSR and EE9 Cascavel. It has Heavy I-Hawk AA at its disposal and multiple Manpad options with RBS 70 among others. Air support is granted by the usual mix of F5 and F4 Jets.

Iraqs elite Republican Guard Armored Division named in honor of the great Babylonian king with the latest T-72 Variants, AMX-Auf1 SPGs and a lot of BM-21 Grads. Mechanized Infantry with AMX-10 and different BMP 1, 2 Variants and a few Elite Commando Units, all with different AKM Assault Rifle Variants. Also has Roland 2 and 3 AA available. Able to call in the french Mirage F1 Jet, SU-25s and MIG-21s.



One of Iraqs Regular Army Infantry Divisions the 7th Division has lots of Motorized Infantry with only some Mechanized Units and few T-55 and T-54 Tanks. It is supported by considerable Special Forces Elements and Special EE-9 Reconnissance Vehicles that should give it a strong opener. It has lots of Towed Artillery Options and can call in Bomber and SEAD Air Support from MiG-21s and MiG-25s.

Select "Pact vs Pact" in "Game Parameters", "Opposition" during Game Setup to be able to have Iran and Iraq play against each other.
Iranian battlegroups have a green background, Iraqis have a grey background.
To select battlegroups quickly click on "Division" in the Battlegroup selection screen. The modded ones will be on top.



I want to add a Bunch of Divisions to this Mod in the future as an alternative to the National Decks. Each will get a Premade Battlegroup. My time is limited. But expect future updates to this.
I have changed the names of infantry units using Translation and Romanisation Tools, iam not sure how good they are so if you have some feedback on that feel free to comment about it.
