Working Suspension Example

Description
Uses bearings to let the wheel 'arms' move freely with the terrain. The white tube parts restrict movement so that the arms don't rotate too far.

With this, wheels stay on the ground longer, and you get better traction while climbing. Also reduces rollover.

Thank you for this demonstrator! I just wish I'd been able to afford it sooner. For what it's worth, you can get an identical (afaict) range of motion for much cheaper parts. The little 30 degree bends are stupidly expensive at 35 apiece, so this design costs 860 for the white cage. Looking at the model it immediately occurred to me how you made the suspension work. Very creative and well done! I definitely wouldn't have thought of this on my own.
