Updates:
Added Mirage Captain since I removed the regular one

This is a bit of a mini enhance.

This adds enhancements and changes to the Illusionist Class, the intended balance for this mod is for the Vanillia game, not any Overhaul mods.

Class Changes

Winged Monkeys given the Stupid trait

Phase Spider given a new sprite

Summon Phase Beast ritual gem cost reduced from 25 to 20 and is ‘free’ (Lvl 2 illusionists will always know this spell)

Removed standard unit roster

Mirror costs changed from

Mirror Gold 10
Large Mirror Gold 20
Silver Mirror Gold 30
Golden Mirror Gold 100

To

Mirror Iron 5
Large Mirror Iron 15
Silver Mirror Iron 25
Golden Mirror Iron 75

Gained 2 Oasis Terrain at the start of the game.

Most of the time the Illusionist will start in the south of Elysium

Class Additions

New Level 1 ritual Send Winged Monkeys
Summons a group of Stupid Winged Monkeys that will roam the land

New Level 2 ritual Send Invisible Stalker
Summons an Invisible Stalker, an uncontrollable invisible assassin that seeks out enemy player armies.

New Phase beast Nether Ray added to Summon Phase Beast

And scouts don't seem to come in the merc roster, but the ability to cast floating eye can do the job just as well you know, cast one and let it view the area for you.

And just so you know Catapults don't spawn as troop type either, but I figured that was intended cause nether ray, or the sand ray javelin guys can fly over the wall, making an alterantive siege tactic, instead of using the catapults to crit fish the key targets down you fly over the wall. So I assume the lack of catapults was intended to counter balance having the quicksand mancer, and the two flying units.

I'll make the donation when I get paid on friday, the thing about the mirrors is, it's all RNG, you can get all the phantasmal warrior mirrors you want set up, but the monkey maharaja can just get a lucky series of rolls with his spam of basic monkies, and the etheral does nothing, and two mirrors worth of say soldier phatamasms got used up, good luck with the 50 gems, assuming you even got a good gem seed. It's such a lazy job of a class, if you get Gems you will be fine, but if you can't get a good spawn that assures at least 8 gems a turn you have no tools as the illusionist to play the game, just restart. But your mod gives him a basic troop army that can fight at least so you aren't just, "Oh didn't get four mines near my spawn, restart immediately".

Hey, thanks for the love, I keep meaning to come back and put a thematic captain in!

I felt similarly about the illusionst, it felt like a very lazy class with only 1 playstyle of make mirrors, which however strong are a bit boring and annoying the manage charges.

I understand this mod hasn't been touched in a while, cause I know this base game is niche at best. And I understand if you don't want to do more work on it after these years, but I have a question, it might seem odd. Illusionist is my favorite class concept wise, but it feels like such a lazy job done by the devs, a highly limited mage with a very generic roster, your mod gave life to my favorite class, was wondering if you had a Kofi or anything for such work, and would take a donation as a form of like well just paying you for your time and effort to simply round out the only issues seem to be recruitment maybe hiccups like the captian everything else is great, descriptions not even that needed, it's just nice to have the class play like not "Any generic hu man faction with a very niche spell tree"

Question I have for the author, does Illusionist get captains as I haven't got a offer for a single one at all and it makes controlling my region quiet hard with only 3 leaders. Just checking if this is normal or not but I overall like the new additions to the class who I think needed a overhaul the most.

I'm not modding anything atm, taking a break. But I think I'll look at necro next when I'm hit by some creative inspiration.
