Tentacle Leash (YOINK)

Description
Adds a strong pull effect to the Tentacle Lash skill, enough to drag targets up and down ledges.
(And into your waiting arms.)

This mod should be compatible with everything, including mods that edit the skill data entry. Feel free to use it alongside overhauls and any other polymorph tweak mods you like.



PREREQUISITES:
Requires airi_Vanguard in order to function. I thought for a while about trying to separate it, buuuuuuut

NOTES:
  • By design, the YOINK effect will not work on Grounded targets (Fortified, Entangled, etc -- the statuses that grant teleport-immunity in Vanilla).
    However, for this mod, it will still work on armored targets.
  • By default, Tentacle Lash is flagged as a "melee" skill, which means it has a hard time targeting things up or down steep inclines, even short ones.
    The separate Tentacle Leash skill added in the mod listed below does not have this issue, and it can be... quite strong, even with the balance-related edits I made.
  • This mod specifically does not affect the enemy version of Tentacle Lash.

  • Polymorph Weapon Scaling DE - Edits Tentacle Lash and a few other skills to do weapon-based damage as physical.
  • Finesse Polymorph Scaling - Edits Tentacle Lash and a few other skills to scale off Finesse instead of Strength.

as for the icon i think you could just flip the icon from Tentacle lash

How about this: 2 AP, 9m range, 110% physical damage, no disarm/atrophy, and physical armor will prevent the pull effect

That would be fairly easy to do... but then I'd feel the need to try to make it somewhat balanced. HMMMMM
