The Andeans was an ancient place when it came to civilization, but as old as it was it was technologically inferior compared to the old war. However they were very advanced in their own way and invented many forms of wonderful art and governing systems, from the Wari-Tiwanaku theocratic carnival to Chimu's system which the Inca copied.

China was one of the cradles of civilization in the old world, appearing humbly as the almost legendary Xia dynasty. They grew into a kingdom, then a larger kingdom, fragmented, united, conquered, fragmented, and so on, the idea of the mandate of heaven always there, guided by the emperor of heaven who would end a corrupt dynasty(or so the new dynasty would declare) and start a new one.

Elam was a pre-Medes and Persians civilization that was very old and was a rival of the Sumerians. The Seleucids were the largest and most successful of Alexander's fragments, forming an empire that stretched from Anatolia to Mesotomia and Persia. It began to break apart first with the rise of the Parthians, but it had its place in history. The Seljuk turks had a great empire that lasted 200 years. They were the predessors and in many ways paved the way for the Ottomons.
