Ильиновка 1942

This map is dedicated to local battle near the village Ilyinovka, Voronezh region. In August 1942, the Soviet 86th Tank Brigade of Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Zaseev together with the 229th Rifle Brigade attacked the positions of the 694th Infantry Regiment of the wehrmacht.

Map size 4 by 4 kilometers, there is mainly open terrain. At the same time, wide fields are partially intersected by small forest strips. In the central part of the map there is a large birch grove. Fields and forests are complemented by two villages: Ilyinovka and Spasskoye.

The map has been created for the Red Bear Iron Front community [www.red-bear.ru], which conducts weekly WWII TvT games.
