Working for B41 and B42


Beds with blanket spawns
An option to make beds with blankets spawn throughout the world, this can be enabled mid game but will only apply to new beds when loading a new area.

When you explore new areas regular beds have a chance to either spawn a blanket item, be changed with blanket covered bed or do nothing. You need the (mod) Target Square: On Load Commands in order for the beds to be properly transformed which is why only items will be spawned in it's absense. Until the 20th of September, previously loaded areas will spawn the blanket item too.


I plan to update this periodically with more blanket colors and designs

The original version of this mod will remain as an option if you desire to keep things simple

Dude.. I've used this mod since 2021-2022 or something crazy, this mod is goated.. one of my all time favs. I personally host a hardcore server called 'The Black Winter' where it gets verrrrry cold. The literal only thing I wish was that if you slept in a bed with a blanket-sprite that it would give you insulation/raise your temperature. Living in Canada I've slept in a house with no heating in minus -30C (-22F) and had it not been for the blanket/fullyclothed IRL, I would have died to exposure like im constantly doing on my server while sleeping in -9C (15F) degree weather.

Thanks for all your hardwork, big fan of the mod!

Loving the mod ! Thank you for something that should be so obviously in vanilla. It's also fun to look for a specfic color XD I always try to find a nice purple blanket, for instance.
I've only noticed two very small issues :
- if you try to pick up a bed with a blanket before taking the blanket off the bed, the bed is both picked up and not. Meaning it allows you get infinite beds XD
- there seems to be an option to disable patterns in the sandbox options, but on my screen resolution, I can't see part of the name of the functionality, and can't see/click on the checkbox. I'm not sure if that's something you can fix on your end or if it's solely a me problem, but I thought I should let you know.
Don't let that undermine the great work you've done, though.

Sorry, but how do i place the blanket onto the bed?/ I can only place the folded version of it and im a bit confused

@gunslinger Yes it is a transparent line, giving the appearance that the bed is split in half.

I've now upgraded to the new version so no issues for me now, great work!

@Barc there is no issues with swapping between. Large line? Is it transparent?

@Yusei no atm it gives the same comfort as having a pillow

Using the old version of this mod, is it safe to remove and upgrade to this new one? Id stay on the old one but there's a large line running through most of the beds on that version
