The Matherian Viking and Norman Fleets (for Anno Domini: 919)

The Matherian Viking and Norman Fleets is a SPECIAL EDITION of "The Matherian Viking Fleet", designed as a special submod for Anno Domini: 919

In addition to the main modification which involves all Scandinavian factions' FLEETS (Danes, Jorvik, Viking Rebels and Viking Separatists), the NORMANS will be now provided with a very unique naval roster.

While Viking fleets will show a purely HEATHEN design including new figureheads, scandinavian artworks for sails and a brand new asset of superb Viking shields, their Norman counterparts will be marked by a very special "hybrid" roster incorporating elements of Norse and Frankish Christian cultures at the very same time.



Because I truly consider AD 768 and AD 919 the best available overhaul mods for AoC so far, which makes nearly impossible for me to let them go while enjoying my personal modifications ;)

As previously mentioned, and in order to give you the best possible experience, please note I released 2 different versions :

1. a standalone for AoC Vanilla

2. a submod for AD 919



1. Just subscribe for this edition if you want all Viking factions and Norman fleets being assigned with new Fleets while playing an AD 919 campaign or custom battle. This obviously implies that the present edition IS NOT a standalone version, and you'll need to previously install all the parts of "Anno Domini: 919" in order to make my mod properly run and work.

PLEASE REMEMBER this specific version is EXCLUSIVELY INTENDED FOR "Anno Domini: 919". In case you want to get an almost identical modification while playing a brand new or existing campaign of "Anno Domini: 768" you can refer to the standalone version of "The Matherian Viking Fleet".

2. Make sure to set top priority for the mod through your Steam Total War Mod Manager

REMEMBER, you can definitely subscribe for ALL THE EDITIONS of my mod at once : JUST BE SURE to properly activate/deactivate them before launching the game (always through your Steam's Mod Manager) depending on the Anno Domini mod you're possibly using at that very moment.



>> Please be aware this is not intended as a 100% historically accurate mod as the main goal is to provide an epic, fitting visual effect. We're talking of a believable, strong historical foundation with some personal, artistic liberties that should be taken as what it is : a simple enjoyable alternative to the Vanilla version.

>> This is just a very first Beta release. With this in mind, nothing from your current saved games should get broken as the mod doesn't touch anything but the graphic asset of your Danes, separatist vikings, Viking rebels and Mercenaries. Said that, please feel free to report any potential issue on the conversation below and I'll do my best to assist u asap.
