A ongoing operation in Eastern Europe has left the Goobertarish torn. What was originally meant to be a search for survivors in a deserted area turned into a rescue mission. Maybe bucking orders wasn't the best choice.
Along with her pre-existing wounds, she's suffered a cut to the cheek via shrapnel and a part of her glove along with a bandage on her upper arm. The previously patched up wounds are still bleeding somewhat from prolonged stress of the wounds, and the bandages are soaking them up.
