Healing Life Crystal

Description
What does this mod do ?

The mod allows players to use Life Crystals as healing source to heal entirely (similar to the Nurse NPC) once the maximum health with Life Crystals is reached (400 HP).

A new debuff

A new debuff has been added to prevent players to use Life Crystals, similar to Potion Sickness debuff with potions.
By default the duration is set to 2 minutes, but it can be changed between 0.5 and 5 minutes.

Some history

I made this mod a few years ago for tModLoader 1.3 which you can find here on the Terraria Forums[forums.terraria.org] and now I remake it for 1.4 versions

I think Humm-Bird means healing to current max health while also increasing health as usual.

I'm open to feedback and suggestions, so thanks for commenting. Doing something with Life Fruits is not a bad idea. I'll think about it. I'm just not sure when I'll have time to add such feature though (plus other feedback I got).

About the fact that Life Crystals should heal even if not full life, I'm not sure though. If I add this, the mod should know when the player wants to heal rather than increase max life, which might lead to add "complexity" in the mod's usability (such as key combination to perform heal / increase stats). But I keep this idea in mind.

I have a few pieces of feedback, ofc you don't have to listen to what I say bc I'm just like some guy but anyways! I think that it should heal even when you don't have full life crystals, and I think that life fruit should also heal, but maybe less because they're farmable?
Also, this mod is really cool!

yea, for a little after you heal. i think feral bight is a debuff that does smt like that

The idea you have in mind is to apply these kind of debuffs/contraints when you use a crystal? Something like "lower defense for a few seconds after being healed"?

That is interesting, I will think about that. Maybe something which gives a random debuff (defense, no mana usage etc)

question, it is very strong and good. so i think a debuff that lowers deffence, max health or unable to use mana, would that be possible?

I thought 2 minutes is okay in Vanilla to balance the fact you can heal entirely, but other mods drastically change the player lifespan, so that's a good point. I'll definitely add a config option !

playing calamity infernum/fargo's soul mod alot. the timer is too long because 2 min is between life and death, when most bosses one-two hit you. adding a config option would make it so when using the hard mods like eternity or infernum, you can use it multiple times per fight.
