Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't need to spam right click so often in this game?

Introducing - Buildgun lens!

When used with your Buildgun (select in the hotbar and left click) these lens split the Buildgun's beam into 9 parts, allowing you to dig up a 3x3 area at once! This weakens the beam, so it doesn't work on ores. For safety reasons, it will also not work on machines.

Since the buildgun is operating above normal limits to counteract the weakening effect of the lens, firing through the lens takes suit power. A fair trade for quick and easy tunnel creation! Mined blocks also get vaporized, so your inventory doesn't get full of garbage.

This mod includes 3 new items - 3 tiers of lens for the 3 tiers of Buildgun in the game.

Do you still have a copy of the pre-build VS files for this? I'm looking to see if I can make this able to toggle between full drops and no drops instead of just none. Will give credit.

Takes power but also destroys the blocks? Power usage can be mitigated, but people need the garbage blocks to make construction paste. Please make some change to allow for such.

@charles There isn't an API for the care package, but I'll have a look around the code and I'll see if that's possible! I never thought of that, thanks for the idea

Are you able to add something to go along with the care package? I always use the care package so I start with the Tier 3 gun... Maybe make the tier 3 lens available earlier if you have care package ?

Looks like FCE does not understand symbolic links
