Rich
Acquire 100,000 coins
Pretty straight forward, there is gold in the game and when you collect a total of 100,000 coins across all of your playthroughs you will get this achievement.
Massacre
Defeat 25,000 enemies
Pretty straight forward, there are enemies in the game and when you kill a total of 25,000 of them across all of your playthroughs you will get this achievement.
Combo Master
Reach a count of at least 500 in a single combo
This one can be a little tricky, but I recommend focusing on a class that can clear rooms quickly.
My preference for this one was a Thief, but realistically any class can achieve this. I recommend stacking Combo Timer and Combo Nova.

Well, I platinumed Hammerwatch 1 with a lot of help from the secrets and achievement guide from the colleague who dedicated his time to creating both guides! Thank you very much!

For those who are interested in complete all achievements in the future, whether in normal mode or serious mode, I recommend playing Thief. It's the class with the greatest mobility, dodge, hook, and stun. But I want to make it clear that I used the infinite life and 2x damage that the game allows you to add before creating the map.
Despite having "completed all the achievements," I only did it because I spent money on the game. I didn't like it; it's very raw, poor, and repetitive and serious mode is *****, horrible and the rewards for being the "hardest" mode are disgusting.....
anyway, good luck to everyone!

After defeating the dragon in Castle Hammerwatch (the final boss), you need to escape to the right. If you haven't collected all 12 wood planks, you won't be able to complete the path and will die despite having killed the dragon. After killing it, you have 15 seconds to run to the right and reach the exit and descend the floors until you return to the beginning of the game (at the bridge where you separated from your companions - in the prison). Each floor has 15 seconds to reach the exit, and there are creatures in the way and collapsing rocks, so be careful. Once you reach your companions, you'll get the "One Man's Scraps" achievement!
... 25 Sep @ 11:50am
For those who want to finish Shaftlocke Tower on Serious difficulty and escape via the elevator to get the achievement:
After killing the dragon, you'll have 30 seconds to run to the elevator.
(There are 30 seconds for each floor after you enter the elevator, and even after killing the dragon, the 30-second countdown begins.)

Rocks will fall in your path, which can kill you, and there will be some mobs. You'll also need to know exactly where the elevator is on each floor, as you'll have to go down/backwards until you reach the second floor of the mine to reach the city alive and thus get the achievement.
So, before fighting the dragon (the final boss), I suggest you look at the previous maps to know where the elevator is and not get as desperate as I did trying to escape alive, which could result in losing the achievement.
... 25 Sep @ 10:56am
You can also complete the "Combo Master" achievement in the room where you can farm ores (in mines). If you don't know where it is, check the "Suspicious Tunnels" achievement, which will show you the way.

I managed to complete 500 combos after accumulating several mobs in the tunnels.
Keep hitting the ores and moving while stacking mobs. If necessary, use the Smoke Bomb to stun the mobs and avoid dying. After gathering a good amount, I started killing them all, but be careful not to die.

I did this before killing the final boss (dragon). I already had my combo, stats and abilities maxed out and was using the "Circlet of the Stellar Mistress" item, which regenerates 10 mana for each enemy killed. So, you'll have infinite mana to cast spells! It's very easy with the thief because you have movement speed, dodge, stun and the grappling hook!
Good luck to everyone! :steamhappy: (September 2025)

Fantastic work. Your guides are pretty much all I could find on Anniversary Edition whenever I was stuck
Xmegusta 15 Dec, 2023 @ 1:17pm
I guess I missed one of the planks. You can't go back to previous floors after killing a boss, right? Sucks

Thank you to everyone who used my achievement guide! After a week and a half it is finally completed. Thank you for the upvotes and favorites! Be sure to check out my other guides!

There are no guides at all for Hammerwatch: Anniversary Edition, so I would rather publish an unfinished guide with notes that it is being worked on to ensure the community of what is to come. Steam gives me the ability to do that.
Securicsi 23 Aug, 2023 @ 3:32am
Why would you publish a guide that's unfinished? Not just unfinised, it's barely even started. You have details for one achievement..
