Prepare for another hard core survival scenario.

You landed on mars for a short mission. But this is Mars and it never goes according to plan. Your return vehicle crashed on landing and turned into a beautiful pile of debris. Your short mission turns into a long one. New quest : survive and get back. In order to call down the backup MDV you need to activate the antenna at the mountain top. This should be easy. But again, this is Mars, so expect difficulties.

Completing this scenario will take many hours, but it is possible.

This scenario contains new content so make sure you have the ADDON and MOD installed. Nothing to make it easier, but the hard work is more diverse. Rock drilling by hand, repairing stuff and travel to get resources. If you tried “resource rocks” demo, you have seen some of it. Use the new content in addition to the vanilla.

-grinder to recycle obsolete building blocks and process mined rocks. (*)
-handheld detector tools to find rocks containing resources.
-repair tool to fix damaged equipment and vehicle.
-printable spare parts to be used with repair tool.
-mining tool to drill chunks of minable rocks.
-new resource Ice to be melted into water.
-new resources Copper and Cobalt needed for the new tools.
-new resource Lithium needed to print the spare suit battery
-new debris objects to be found and processed in the grinder
-resource rocks are easily mined by attaching a resource barrel
-improved Slot Keys to instantly switch tools with keys 1-2-3 (4)
-show sector in the HUD.
-Suit Power. Drains by cold, light and the new devices. Recharge at MMRTG or Solar Panel.
-PHEV buggy can be charged with charging adapter and cable.
-Spare suit battery to bring extra juice for you suit



Tips:
-You start out very poor, short of everything. But don’t worry. Just when you feel you are stuck in eternal grind, you will get on a better track. Stepping stones are when you get the repair tool, when you get the mining tool, and when you get the cargo truck going.
-make sure to have barrels attached to the grinder before you press “start” or you will lose the object.
-it might be a good idea building a base and get your potatoes going. The main quests takes time.
-the traffic cone has vital significance.
-running out of suit power does not kill you, but you HUD will shut down, light and new tools will not work.

(*) the grinder was originally a copy from Mr.Monochrome's "Recycle Tools". Here it has added logic for return of resources and display.
