Description
This mod requires you have both the Campaign and Multiplayer of Halo Combat Evolved installed on MCC.

Halo: Combat Evolved, now with LUDICROUS GIBS! A fun callback to 90s era shooters, but with an extra punch.

If any of the extra mod features & changes are not for you, might I suggest Brutality Evolved Classic?

Mod Features

- LUDICROUS GIBS! Bodies splat & gibbles bleed! Most corpses have unique gib sets.
- Other meaty SFX for body falls, blood splats & headshots.
- Grunt minors can get decapitated by headshots!
- Additional dialog for Chief when taking major damage.
- Additional dialog for the crewman when dying.
- Additional encounters & weapon secrets on select missions.
- Additional power weapons available on select missions.
- Alternate Elite English dialog for some units.
- Better dialog for Flood, Sentinels & Chief.
- Brutes make their debut in the T&R ship & beyond.
- Golden MOAs drops explosive C4! Careful when using it!
- Helljumpers on select missions.
- Hornets & Hornet AI!
- Hunters no longer die from a single pistol shot, forcing you to dance with them.
- Rocket Warthogs available on select missions.
- Slugman encounters from the Digsite Crew.
- Some re-works ported from Ruby's Re-balanced, for a more visceral experience.
- Sound design for weapons are beefed up, but kept similar to vanilla.
- Spirit dropships can be destroyed by heavy fire! (Usually from a Scoprion tank or Missile Pod.)
- Spirit turrets can be destroyed with enough gunfire.
- Zealots drop usable Energy Swords on death.
- There's a lot more features added or changed that aren't listed here, so do check the patch notes!

Notes

- Known Bugs can be found here!
- Destroying enemy bodies counts as kills, and destroying allied corpses counts as betraying your teammates. Destroy enough marine bodies, and you'll find yourself labeled a traitor. (I call this one a "happy accident", since it does add realism to the mod.)
- Enable Piñata & Boom skulls for maximum chaotic carnage, though not for the faint of heart.
- Plasma grenade sticks are guaranteed to gib. Bet ya can't stick 'em!
- This IS co-op compatible!

I slept on this mod for a bit but finally got around to playing it and I gotta say it may be my new favourite Halo CE mod, possibly just my favourite Halo mod period. It doesn't go completely overboard in its additions to the point where things look jarring (for the most part, Silent Cartographer goes a liiilll to far for me) and makes the gameplay loop of CE refreshing with slight tweaks to the sandbox and new additions.

Plus any mod that gives me the brute plasma rifle is immediately a 10/10, really hope to see more like this in the future for other halo games possibly. :MCCHELMET:

okay nevermind after reading the known bugs and reports, I just happen to get the RARE BUG where i gib enemies right as they are about to throw a plasma 2 times in the past 30 minutes :)

anyone else getting alot of UE4 crashes? I have gotten 2 playing Silent Cartographer mission. Normally when i gib multiple enemies.

I don't know if anyone else had the same issue, but it doesn't get past the loading screen of the first mission.

The mod has been updated! I'm too arsed to make a trailer, because I've been fairly busy with other stuff. I'll get around to it eventually. :warthog:
