WARNING: This pack has some swearing in it. If that's not your jam, sorry, mate.



Ever wished your deaths could be a little more varied and sometimes stupid? Well, look no further than Creative Death Logs. Ranging from mildly concerning to hilarious, you're sure to get a kick out of your own demise.

One day I said to myself, "Man, I wish Terraria was a little sillier sometimes, and also leaned into the eldritch horror stuff more." and then a few days later realized I could in fact add the silly and the horror into it myself! So, welcome to the stage: Creative Death Logs!

Of course this pack changes every death message in the game to something new (and usually stupid), but it also alters some of the UI options and many announcement messages, such as boss spawns and deaths.

I've never done a resource pack in my life, so *please* let me know if something breaks, you encounter any errors or spelling mistakes, etc.

Finally, show some love to resource pack creators Spo0kyBoi and TheDapperAx for inspiring this pack, and credits to my friend Naya for helping me figure out how to edit the game files to make it in the first place because I'm VERY dumb.

@Doodlinka I won't be doing that because I don't remember how I made this pack, therefore i have no idea how to edit it! :P
if you don't like it, you can change whatever files you want. I don't have a copyright on anything here and i don't really care, so go nuts. While I do agree the name doesn't entail ALL the changes made, i did write a blurb in the description about it messing with other bits of UI text and a full changelog for anyone to look at, and also i just like the name so i'll probably be keeping it.

i didn't write these, but i read through the UI ones just before writing this comment.
there are like two lines that i guess COULD be slightly confusing at most.. and it's so incredibly minor..

making a seperate mod for one or two minor edits atleast to me seems a lil overboard, and deleting what's already here also seems meh.
however, renaming the pack i could see an angle for.
i'm not the one to make that call, though, that's the other.. uh, author. dev. thing.

so it isn't up to me, really. BUT, at the very worst, feel free to edit the file yourself:

this pack also affects npc house suitablilty messages, the multiplayer password prompt, and loads of other things. please rename the mod to reflect that. a lite version with only the death messages would be better, because some of other stuff makes things more confusing

this implies swearing normally removes the "pure gold" status and i'm unsure how i feel about that

@Axolzan unfortunately, i don't quite remember? it's been like, 2 years since I made this pack and it was my first time messing with resource pack junk. i found it by just googling though, so you can probably find whatever you need fairly easily! good luck :)
