Skchen Mechanized Tank Destroyer

"The slowest and most lightly armored of the RBN mechs, the Skchen is poorly suited for offensive operations but excels in roles such as fire support. Given paper thin armor and an exposed top the Skchen is a poor choice for any offensive action as it lacks the speed to utilize any form of hit and run tactics. Instead Skchens rely on taking defensive or ambush positions where they can use their main railgun from relative safety and tear holes in enemy armored units. Another disadvantage of the Skchen is its lack of "hot drop" capability. Being an open top design it was never given brake chutes or thrusters to allow it to execute a "hot drop". Instead Skchens are entirely reliant on their landing ships for deployment. Despite all these flaws Skchens continue to see service thanks to the powerful their ability to pack a powerful punch on a cheap and light platform."
