So i was using the 117F in a backpack and a 148 in the uniform
I had removed/disabled acre 2 standard from the modpack on both clients and the server at the time but still had the same outcome
I will try another test soon see if it does the same
I don't think backpacks can be preconfigured with ACRE settings, that's a TFAR thing only.
That's weird, it has always worked well for us.
Are you sure you are now running only the Fork in your modset? Running standard ACRE2 simultaneously is a probable cause.
When you say radio packs do you mean backpacks preconfigured with ACRE settings in the configs or the AN PRC 117F?
I set the long range to arcade and standard to LOS multi path
I ticked the boxes for vehicles and pack to be counted as long range and i did the GSM to the Both option
When i connected radios to the GSM or used vehicle mounted radios it still had the same outcome
The Fork is independent from the original ACRE2, so you only need the Fork active.
As of right now (might change as we start developing plugin improvements), the Fork reuses the original plugin .DLLs, no need to reinstall or switch plugins.
You need to configure which antennas count as "long ranged" and will use the Signal Model LR setting. You can do that via appropriate CBA Settings.
In your issue, which settings did you set?
The standard CBA settings should allow radiopacks, vehicle racks and GSMs to work with Signal Model LR. If you set that to Arcade while keeping the normal Signal Model setting on LOS-Multipath (or others), you should notice that those radios now largely ignore terrain.
