/!\ INSTRUCTIONS TO PROPERLY INSTALL /!\

1.) Subscribe to this addon and download GCFScape (many sites have it like valvedev.info, I sadly can't link it or else valve will flag it and remove it from this post - I tried doing this already to make it easier to get the files using mediafire, but it got flagged) and run it

2.) Once open, click the icon on the top left under "File" to Open a Package

3.) Navigate within this prompted window to your "Steam\steamapps\Common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop" folder, then either sort by date modified or look for this addon's matching thumbnail; the .vpk you are looking for will share the same name as the .jpg (it will have the same name as the ID shown at the end of this page's link if you look at the top "/?id=??????????")

4.) Select the .vpk with the matching ID name and click open. From here, click the plus on the left side of "root" to show the folder "media." Right click on this folder and then click extract. I recommend extracting it either to your Downloads or your Desktop for ease of access. Inside this folder should have 5 different .bik files.

5.) Find your L4D2 media folder in "Steam\steamapps\Common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\media"

6.) I recommend copying the original valve files (l4d2_background01, l4d2_background02, l4d2_background03, l4d2_background04, and l4d2_background05) from the L4D2 media folder and pasting them elsewhere in case you wish to easily switch back

7.) Drag/copy the 5 files you extracted with GCFScape into the L4D2 media folder, and replace the originals.

8.) Open/Restart the game and enjoy! :D
