Deposits Planner is a simple mod to enhance a deposit radius visuals while in a build mode.

There is a deviation in deposit radius accuracy calculation, which has been communicated to developers and might get fixed in the future. In short, it is associated with the deposit "core" vertical level. This mod visualizes the maximum distance from the core and may be slightly inaccurate on far edges depending on the level your mine is getting placed to.

Forward-compatibility of the mod is not guaranteed at this point, I'm hoping we can get more public API available in the future to improve code portability between game versions.
