Description
Vastly increases the chances of recruiting an officer with the "Linguist" skill. Other language skill chances are unaffected.

As far as I know it still works. It only changes a single value which is in the core of the game, so unlikely to ever not work.

Haven't experienced anything like this myself. Not sure this mod will be the culprit, as it just changes value used to dictate the spawn chance of the skill.

This mod seems to be causing newly promoted officers to have no unique skills at all for me.

It only controls the chance, bringing it up to be comparable with other skills, so there's no guarantee you will get a Linguist - there's just as much chance as anything else.

I tried it about 15 times and no one has this ability. Recruted new ones from the officer.
