If you think you're ok with your defense, Gazloka + Willpower + Firework is a good option, like you said, since Firework scale with Elemental Damage, the constant cap gazloka buff covering the screen.
I made a test with pure evasion, but i wasn't comfortable with that. With low armor and ele res a lot of things can potentially one shot, so i prefer to get hit more often, with a consistent damage reduction.
Not saying that evasion builds can't be reliable, i just have to find a better stats distribution, i'll probably update that variant later.
I changed only one thing for area buff and quick cleaning: Aestia's ring of life -> Gazlokas's conquest
It's intesesting to test evasion form to understand which one is stronger
