[I.B.A.] – Internet Browser Addon:
A Mod To Browse The Web. Hope You Enjoy! More Below!

This is a sweet addon that adds a cool browser to the context menu
It's useful when you want to browse the internet when bored.

Use the x86-64 Chromium branch and cef codec fix for the best experience(Info Below)!
Go To Gmod In Library → Click Gear → Click Properties → Opt in to the Beta!
Oh, also use cef fix for more to work, only on the beta branch. needs chromuim
It will work on the regular branch too, just expect some websites to be broken.

Instructions:
Hold C, open the context menu, find the “Browser” button, click it, and the Internet Browser Addon interface will pop up!

🔑 Key Features:

💬 A Message Popup
So you can see what's new, how to get the mod working, and things like that!
There is a check box now that you can click on/off to have it appear on startup or not
You can now access the popup through Q Menu > Utilities > Internet Browser Addon | You can also use this command to view it again: iba_show_update_popup | So you can also uncheck the box to have it reappear on Startup again.)

📑 Bookmarks System
Save your favorite websites with ease. Your bookmarks are automatically saved and ready every time you launch the browser. Stop retyping URLs — just click and go!

🗂️ Multi-Tab Support
Work smarter with multiple tabs, just like your desktop browser. Seamlessly switch between web pages without leaving the game.

🎥 CEF Codec Fix Integration
– Automatic Detection: The addon checks for H.264 support (required for embedded videos) and CEF fix on startup.
– So Just Makes It Able For You To Use This If You Want: https://github.com/solsticegamestudios/GModCEFCodecFix
– The CEF Codec Fix is recommended for better video playback. (That Way Sites Like Twitch, X, Reddit, And Much Much More Will Work Fully.) - [Not Needed. But Adds More Support.]

@nils33694 Im working in an update optimizing it ans improving it. Now it dotn crash for me on ym crappy 6 year old igpu i3 11th gen laptop ofc I have newer pc but for me ans other it dint crash could it be another mod. Do you have chromium beta branch try ans check these things ans let me know. Dw I'll fix things

dw i understand, im trying to figure out how to make it spawnable.
there is a mod called media player updated edition its close ish to what u want
but yeah im working on it, or trying, learning more, Anyways Yeah, sorry its not spawnable yet

you dont spawn anything
no you dont need media player
so press c on ur keyboard, open the menu where it shows the player model changer its in there, it will show a planet like broser icon, in the context menu, its a ui, there no model yet, im still trying to figure this out, please read the description btw, Thanks for using our mod, hope you enjoy

How do I spawn in a screen for it do I need Media Player?

I have now updated it so you can do what you wanted, so it can no longer appear on startup. You can reopen it to uncheck the box to stop it from starting up again. The command and where to go to get it back open again are in the change logs and description. Hope you enjoy. Thanks For Using This Mod:)

There's no way of stopping from showing but I can add a option to stop from poping up like a way to disable and stuff liek that so it wont shoe every time game boots up. I can do thid

Yes tho you won't be able to view each other's its client side for whatever user has mld installed so if you and ur ffeinds have it installed and you are in a multi-player world yall can use it just serperate and only for each player it's client side. But yes it's mp. Yeah!.
