MTL 72-600

The MTL 72-600 takes the design of an ATR 72-600 and takes it to the next level in terms of efficiency and comfort.




When we designed teh MTL 72-600's interior we wanted to make an interior that is simple to interact with, yet complex enough to have all the functions a professional pilot could need. (see image below for instructions)




The MTL 72-600 is powered by the almighty MTL 600-R Turboprop Engines which were custom-made for this aircraft to ensure top notch efficiency and reliability. With an efficiency of 2600L/100km* and a 8000L fuel tank the 72-600 can easily go to the arctic and come back without any range anxiety. Also for those arctic expeditions we have added adjustable electric heaters for both the cabin and the flight deck.

*2100L/100km can be achieved under ideal conditions but MTL does not guarantee that there will always be such conditions so fuel consumption can vary. However the 8000L fuel tank will assure even under the heaviest conditions that a flight to and back from the arctic is possible on one fuel tank.




Currently the 72-600 is set up for 8 business class seats for your most dedicated flyers and 26 economy seats for the flyers who are willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort* for a heavy reduction in the seat price.

*MTL is not responsible for the conditions that economy passengers may fly in, as that is the airlines responsibility.

However the 72-600 can be set up for everything from a private charter where everything is first class, to a full economy cabin, or to a cargo cabin if the operator so wishes (or as we like to call it: economy 2)
