Darkest Divinity: Original Dungeon [DEMO]

Description
Did you enjoy the combat system of Divinity: Original Sin 2, but don't want to play through the original campaign again? If yes, then this mod is for you.
Its key concept is to add a 'roguelike' game mode with procedurally generated 'dungeons' to complete by filling rooms with different enemies.

At the strategic level, the mod is based on the concept of Darkest Dungeon with character management in a party and their rotation from campaign to campaign. Among other things, to increase the variety of gameplay, the mechanics of "stress", "hunger" and "light" have been added, which are somewhat inspired by similar mechanics from Darkest Dungeon.

The mod is fully playable, but only acts as a concept demo. In the current version, the player is provided with a temporary hub where the player can recruit new characters to the squad, and send the old ones to rest and buy consumables, equipment and skills. As for the "dungeons" themselves, the player is provided with one location-arena, one type of dungeons - "Forest", and one set of opponents, which in this context can be called "Generic".

Required modifications:
Norbyte's Divinity Script Extender: https://github.com/Norbyte/ositools/releases/tag/updater_v5

I want to develop the mod in the idea to a full-fledged campaign, with story characters, full-fledged quests, custom made soundtrack and a bunch of content in general, but with one pair of hands this amount of content is unlikely to work out in the foreseeable future, so for now I present this project in this form.

Concept “To Do”:

Hub:
A full hub location, a settlement inspired by the Darkest Dungeon hub, with "functional buildings" and a system for upgrading them.

Characters:
Simple backstories of hired characters.
Several unique characters with separate quest lines.
Separate traits for hired characters that affect their characteristics and behavior in certain situations (inspired by in-campaign characters events in Darkest Dungeon).

Dungeons:
Expansion of the pool of locations, creation of new types of "dungeons", expansion of the pool of opponents and bosses (respectively binding them to the types of "dungeons")
Non-combat events in "rooms" of "dungeons" with skill checks and the need to use consumables (for example, obstruction and shovel in Darkest Dungeon).

Also, if the mod gets feedback and interest, I might consider putting it on the rails of Baldur's Gate 3 once it's released.

If you like this modification and want to continue its development or just want to leave your feedback - write in the comments!

If you yourself have experience working on modifications for DOS2 or have similar experience and want to try to participate in the development yourself, for example, design new arenas, create new enemy templates or work on one of the mechanics described above in "To Do" - I will be glad to have your participation in the development.

Weird issue where when characters get left at camp they lose all their stats once you pick them back up

I would love to, but I do need tons of time and money for that ;C
will try to shuffle around with this mod and probably will go for a bg3 recreation, since the game gives the same and even more.

Also, I have noticed rogue-like mod "Roguelike Arena" by Bonesnake. Recommeding to check it out since this one prbly won't be reanimated any time soon.
