So something may be up with this mod which I wanted to fix first before doing an update that has problem.
This mod won't crash if you use it, but it didn't actually add the asteroids when I tried.
I was visiting family yesterday and I just woke up and will be busy today as well. Maybe this evening I will have a look at it.
But thanks for bringing it to my attention. I had not forgotten this mod :)
Btw I'm also working on a fix for Merchant Raiders.
Compacted Storages works fine, I just noticed I had forgotten to update the ETTM version.
This update adds Duranium as mineable resource in these asteroids.
Also renames the asteroids in this mod to now contain their most noticeable resources, similar to how asteroids are named in Mineable Megaroids.
(in star systems generated before this patch, some of the names may be a bit off due to how some of the existing asteroids were repurposed. In newly generated star systems the names should be the correct ones)
This mod should include generating asteroids with the new resources.
Letalium is relatively rare though. I'm not sure but I may have at least 1 guaranteed spawn with Letalium in this mod, but I'm not sure as it's been a while since I last worked on this mod.
But if you are finding asteroids with the other new resources, it's probably not a mod conflict.
The more your PC has to work to compute something, the slower it will do it (generally speaking).
Does this mean that this is a game optimization issue ?
