Hi Walker,

Let us know how you get on with your results; there are a few (many, many) variants of skins and I would ask you only port the stuff A3 content is based on for now. Add me on Steam if you wish.
Ole' Sherm 3 Nov @ 1:37pm
So after reading a little bit, so long as the original content is published under APL license, and permissions is given. There shouldn't be any problems. I will keep my eyes open and continue reading into the licensing info but this is what I've collected from reading so far.
Special Operations Group  [author] 3 Nov @ 1:01pm
The challenge is if you are permitted to by BIS, i suspect you would be but do check. A mod like CUP needed A3 license to do this; so definitely let me know if you get that sorted because that would be amazing. I fully endorse your efforts to try this (as long as its permitted)

I think I could do it. Though I would probably have to do a repacking of the textures which wouldn't be a problem for me personally. All I would need is access to the models then selves as well as the base color textures and normal textures. I'm not sure how Arma 3 is set up in terms of how it reads. But I'd be willing to give it a shot. So long as the .fbx files already have the UV there shouldn't really be any problem.

For the models them selves I would have to reshape them to fit the reforger body and armature. Everything else would be easy work.
Special Operations Group  [author] 3 Nov @ 10:09am
Precisely, if you can get these models to Reforger, you would have to conference with us but if the quality is satisfactory we could agree to do a reforger release which contains our diffuse/normal work. The UVs should be preserved; though I don't know if BIS will ever release the same models from A3 to A4.

I'd like to say I'm following you.

So you're wanting to be able to use the textures you've already created without having to repack them the way the enfusion engine need to read them correctly?

If I'm wrong than I may need a further explanation of your comment.
Special Operations Group  [author] 2 Nov @ 4:23am
Hi Walker,

There will come a time when Reforger is on our chopping block; you will be our first port of call (pun intended)!

Thanks for the offer of help! What would be ideal is if you can get BIS to consider letting you release dress uniforms onto Reforger, vis a vis CUP for A3 but similar quality upgrade for A3 > Reforger. That would catch our eye in discussion more wholy as we'd be able to bring the diffuse maps we have already to the table and support your objectives to develop a more whole dress uniform project on that platform.

Does that make sense? :)

Would y'all be open to me porting over Navy and marine corps uniforms to Arma reforger?

Didn't see that part apologies.
