Adjustable Age

Description

Lets you specify an age range for newly spawned pawns. Play on a planet of toddlers, or one of geriatrics!

Age range applies only to humanoids. Does not apply to newborns. Allowed ages can be changed mid-game, but will only apply to new pawns. Existing pawns, including AI pawns, will age at the normal rate.

This applies to all pawns: starting pawns, raiders, traders and so on.

Can be added or removed mid-game.

Requires Harmony.

This mod only changes the age at which pawns spawn, not how they spawn. So you could make a tribe of only kids, but having them spawn wild in wolf packs would require some other mod.

So can I make a tribe of kids who was rised by animals always spawn in with a pack of wolves or something? So when there like a pack of man hunting dogs there would an odd kid or two in the mix who think they are dogs too.

that's funny that game has a scenario setting for age range but only for starting pawns

I like this, but I think it could be greatly improved by allowing the player to toggle a bell-curve setting.

Would it possible to specify age ranges for specific categories of pawns? Specifically, I'd like to make it so raiders only spawn as adults. I keep feeling sorry for the teenagers raiding me and recruiting them, and I've got too many pawns in my colony. XD

how about a mod like this but instead of deciding the pawns ages, its the research level of the planet aka all factions thats linked to your own colony level?
So i can force my planet to grow in time/history steps alongside me and not having some still be tribals when their nextdoor neighbor has spacer tech
