Academy City's Seventh-Ranked Level 5 Esper, Gunha Sogiita, arrives to show the competition the true meaning of 'guts'.

As a natural Gemstone Esper, Gunha's abilities manifest in varied and unpredictable ways, from letting him strike opponents from afar, to conjuring multi-colored explosions. Along with all of these powers, he can also jump a third time, granting him strong aerial mobility.

• NSpecial - Gunha's signature move - the Amazing Punch! Gunha can charge up a powerful punch that can even hit distant foes. This attack has three different levels of charge, with increasing range. This attack works by striking an unstable field of psychokinesis to send a blast wave forwards. At least, according to Gunha, that is...
  
• FSpecial - After a quick leap forwards, Gunha delivers a strong swinging punch in front of him. The special button can be pressed earlier to unleash it sooner into the attack. You can also hold up while you punch to use an alternate, combo-oriented uppercut. A powerful option to close in on foes or finish a combo, this attack is useful in a wide variety of situations. Just be careful, as it will put Gunha into pratfall unless he starts it on the ground or hits an opponent.
  
• USpecial - Gunha reaches above himself to grab an opponent while rising. While not a great recovery on its own, this attack is truly deadly. After grabbing an opponent, Gunha will rise high into the air with them, spinning around before crashing into the ground with a devastating impact!
  
• DSpecial - Dspecial has Gunha reach down and grip the ground, charging with energy. When released, he'll cause a tremor to shake the ground beneath him, sending anyone hit by it upwards. The longer he charges for, the more range this quake will have. This versatile tool has no limits to its range, but it can only hit opponents on the ground that he's standing on.
