Description
I've created a stand alone version of Over the Tops new units - here you can see the Grenadiers with SMGs and Raiders with faster firing SMLEs and pistols and also my weapons companies atm for Germany and Britain only - 0815 and Lewis gun, and rifle grenades and mortars
simulated

V1.1:
- AI will now recognize support companies and will use them too, PLEASE TEST AND REPORT IN CASE IT DOESNT!
- New support companies for France and US (should be more agile then UK and GE, but pack less of a punch
- New sounds for BAR
- Amercian raiders now have shutguns, shorter range but more damage
- American raiders now use a new sound for shotguns
- Texts for all support companies including the difference between them

Americans did use shotguns in the trenches. They were so deadly in the confines of a trench that the Germans declared the use of them a war crime. They would execute any soldier taken prisoner that possessed one.(I guess they forgot about starting the use of terror bombings and chemical warfare lol)

@wellington1821 : I did find it off to give the British a non british rifle.

But the point being now, I'm still a bit far from modeling right now, so i can't do that.
I think I will take a look this weekend

Properly trained riflemen with a SMLE have a higher rate of fire than properly trained Mauser/Lebel/Ross riflemen, because the SMLE has a smoother action, better ergonomics and larger magazine. The British favoured rate of fire (See '{LINK REMOVED}'.) so I don't know why they should get some Swiss bolt action rifles. Straight pull doesn't necessarily mean higher rate of fire.

Please keep things historically accurate, I don't wanna see British soldiers running around with Swiss rifles...

Thanks for the feedback, I'll make the changes, as long as I don't habe a model, I have an issue with what I can portray, but I will ge to it eventually.

That's not how rifles work and SMLE just stands for Short Magazine Lee-Enfield. If you want a faster firing bolt action, the Schmidt-Rubin straight pull would be the way to go (adopted in 1889 btw). The raiders would also likely use SMGs to clear trenches.
