The fourth mod in the JCA Standalone mod selection, the JCA - Modular Carrier Remake Project.


DISCLAIMERS:
▪ No DLC assets were edited in the creation of this project.
▪ No DLC content was "Ripped" in the creation of this project.
▪ No DLC assets will be remade fully 1-1.
▪ This mod does not exist to bypass DLC or infringe the Arma 3 EULA.


DESCRIPTION:
The first non-weapon mod to come from JointCom armoury, the JCA Modular Carrier Remake Project sets out to protect you with six new variants of the Modular Carrier platform first added in A3 Contact. To achieve this the model was made to be as close to 1-1 as possible to the Contact assets over the course of a month from the absolute ground up. The model was then UV mapped to the existing Modular Carrier textures, weighted and configured with the same selections to allow for existing textures/materials to easily be switched out for one another giving the ability to add multiple variants easily, as well as creating compatibility with the existing designs config wise.

Eight new Modular Carrier Vest variants:
- Modular Carrier Combat Rig
- Modular Carrier Command Rig
- Modular Carrier CQB Rig
- Modular Carrier Recon Rig
- Modular Carrier Tactical Rig
- Modular Carrier Compact Vest
- Modular Carrier Crew Vest
- Modular Carrier Holster

Twelve different camouflage/colour schemes:
- Black
- Coyote
- Khaki
- Arid
- Jungle
- Desert
- Woodland
- Geometric
- Olive
- MTP
- Tropic
- Alpine

-Fully Implemented arsenal icons for all new vests for ease of location.
-Updated Default arsenal icons for all contact vests for visual consistency.
-Default Patch/Name Tag textures and example config can be found on the discord.

FAQ
Q: Can I reupload this mod in any way?
A: No. Assets within this are not to be reuploaded in any way without express permission.

Q: Does this mod replace anything?
A: Only default modular vest icons.

Q: Will this mod work with other replacement packs?
A: As it is fully new config and models, yes.

Q: Will you make a [Camo] variant?
A: JCA Weapons come in a standard set of Black, Sand and Olive. However other variants may be added if new environments justify it.

Q: Will you make a patch for X?
A: Possibly.

@DMZ yes, 3 of the vests are retextures, its not marked as "Requiring contact" because it does not require contact, you can use this mod without it just fine.

Also, the 'new vests are _still marked_ as requiring contact, hence why my message. Perhaps I did not explain clearly.

Multiple of your vests under Features, show as needing Contact to even play.

@DMZ it very much does say what vests are new, under "Features". Expecting the vanilla vest variants to not be contact DLC when the description even says that this mod is not made to circumvent DLC and that no asset would be remade 1-1 is just you not understanding the description

Multiple of your vests have Contact DLC as a requirement, which isn't marked on this workshop page. Perhaps useful to adjust the description and mention this.
