Description
The Bicycle Revolution Returns!
I always found it a bit odd that PZ didn't have any working bicycles, so I decided to do it myself. Goodbye pollution. Goodbye beaten up cars without gas or keys. Hello freedom!
This mod introduces bicycles to the game. Bicycles are somewhat difficult to find though, so watch out for it!


Obs: This mod is returning after a long time. I no longer have access to the old bug reports or feedback. Please post any issues you encounter or suggestions you might have!

Advantages:
  • Doesn't require gas or power, you are the engine!
  • Makes very little noise, ideal for stealth!
  • Highly customizable!
  • Since it's a bicycle you don't need keys, just hop in!

Disadvantages:
  • The more you pedal the more tired you get!
  • You are very vulnerable to attacks!
  • Low storage capacity!
  • Relatively low top speed!

How does it work?
The bicycle is a vehicle that can offer immense advantages, with some costs, of course.
The bicycle works just like in real life. Pedalling tires you but also gives you fitness exp.
Don't pedal to full exhaustion or you will fall off!

The faster you go, the faster you tire.
Pedalling also warms you up if you are cold, and you can pick up the bicycle and transport it.
There are various types of bicycle, and they each have their own exclusive differentials.

Of course it does!

Does it work on existing saves?
Yes! But bicycles won't spawn on already explored areas.

How do I transport the bicycle?
To pick up a bicycle, right click it or use the Vehicle radial menu.
To place a bicycle, simply drop its frame on the ground.

It also make it not really work with inventory tetris because things get put into different pockets.

Is it possible to make it so picking up a bike does not break it into parts? It feels like it's just silly given that you don't even need the tools you would normally need to take parts off the bike.

1hr later: im sure this CAN be added to existing saves, but in my case (specific mod conflict) installing mid-save caused world corruption, wiping 30h of playtime. making a new world so i can use bicycles ;_;

No es complicado en absoluto, estarás jugando en la versión 42 o tendrás algún conflicto con los mods. Yo cuando jugaba en la versión 41 las encontraba a patadas.

Would really like to see this in B42 cause i dont care for how the other bike mod that has been updated for b42 does it, id rather they be like a vehicle than an inventory item

Yo no se que ocurre con este mod, llevo bastantes días jugando, explorando y buscando en cada rincón de los mapas y nada. No hay manera de hacerse con una Bicicleta, entiendo que sea complicado encontrarlas, pero hasta ahora es imposible, al menos en mi experiencia. 0/0
