Class 31 Green

Description
The British Rail class 31 is a diesel electric locomotive built by Brush between 1957 and 1962. Originally built as class 30 with Mirrlees JVS12T engines, they were converted to using English Electric 12SVT engines between 1965 and 1969. First allocated to the Eastern Region, these locomotives provided commuter passenger services. By the end of their lives, they were a common sight throughout Britain, mostly in the East and North-East with the major exceptions of Bristol and Old Oak depots.
Currently, there are 31 locomotives preserved and 3 in-use on the mainline.

This pack includes both BR green and BR green with yellow warning panel versions of the class 31/1 with steam heat boilers, vacuum brakes and headcode boxes. These variants could be seen circa 1965 to 1969. Features include working instrument lights, light-up headcode boxes and custom sounds.

Specs:
Top speed of 90mph
1470 hp
Tare mass of 115 tonnes
Torque converter imitating traction motors

A special thanks to Bonbonschmatzer for the models, Lapioware for his continued support and the discord server for their inputs.

Yes, the class 31 is slightly slower than the 40 or 37, but it can quite easily keep to time on the 8 car North Landon express services if you want to drive it there. These are the services I tested it on, alongside some of my own services on private routes.

I'm sure it can substitute a Class 37 or 40 without a problem

You can just edit an existing timetable and replace a loco in any of the trains with this one (that's what I did). It's quite easy.
