TREKORION: UFS Charter 3410 Cruiser

Mid-game cruiser. $7m, 45k iron, 700k trinium, and 900 Xanion to construct. Crews ~150 with gunners and pilots.

At 0.6km wide and 1.2km long, the Charter was as much a mobile symbol of the United Federation of Sectors as it was a cornerstone of fleet logistics. Its hangar bay and 9 sector jump range meant a single ship could meet the needs of multiple Federation members without being tied to a primary star base.

The hangar was typically configured for the primary mission: geological, salvage, or repair and recovery, while the turret mounts were dedicated to an array of long-range lasers, bolters, and point defense weaponry.

Even on a peaceful mission, the Charter was a hard target and deterrent to only the most determined of pirates and mercenaries, such as the MAD Science Conglomerate or the criminal organization known as "The Four".
