Khmer Rouge's Cambodia

This map has a lot of functionality. There is plenty of connections and waterways. The landscape is pretty decent... But thouse mountains could need more love honestly. Their shape is like someone used the ground raising tool without further thought about making them look esthetically pleasing to look at. For my review on maps esthetics are one of the most important factors to consider and I really wish these mountains had some actual soul to them. As for functionality goes this does seem like a fun map to give a try. It has tons of resources so perfect for beginners.

I downloaded so many maps that I wanted to write a short little review of all the ones that I find suitable for playing (if time allows it) to provide myself and others a better idea what to expect... I will share my opinion of what I think is worth playing both functionally and esthetically... I know opinions are subjective so please don't burn me at the stake for my sins.

There are some mods that I think would fit South east asian map I am making a collection.

I have no plans to do that because the game currently lacks any Asian buildings. Let's just hope the developers will introduce more building styles in the game.

When I went to visit family living in Cambodia (working for a nonprofit), we visited a museum comemorating the victims of the Khmer Rouge. It's amazing how many people were killed for seemingly no reason!!! Great looking map though!
