"Die Ossis kommen!" ~ Heinrich Ziegler, Anwohner Grasleben

3. August, 1983
Today the NVA stepped over the inner German Border and captured the nearby City of Grasleben.
Shots were fired, no casualties among the civilian population have been reported so far.
In response, the Bundeswehr mobilised a nearby Panzergrenadier-Battalion, to meet the NVAs sudden assault.

The United States will supply A10s for airsupport, as well as hastily organised M1 Abrams Groups.
The Soviet Union has not pledged any support so far, though they draw a red line at crossing the Border into GDR territory.

Rumours suggest, that the NVA had moved motorised Units to the border, in an attempt to capture a high ranking politician on his way over the Border.

BluFors goal is rather simple: kick OpFor back over the Border and take Weferlingen.
OpFor has to push BluFor further West and take their Base near Brennau.

While the sides are basically even, BluFor has access to superior US Armor and Airsupport, while OpFor starts out with easier access to capture points and additional motorised Units.
