MKV Turbocharged Custom HUD Tach installation instructions:

STEP 1
In Windows Explorer, navigate to this folder: …Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1190000. This is your downloads folder that contains all your subscriptions. Sort by date, and this config’s folder will be at the top. Folder name is “2977729481.” Double click, and inside this folder, you’ll find the config files, and a folder called “Licznik_Mosquito_MKVTT.” Right click on this folder, and select Copy.

STEP 2
Next, open a new Explorer window, and navigate to this folder: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021_Data\StreamingAssets\Dials. This folder contains all the HUD tachometers that each car uses on the tracks. Right click in the window, and select Paste. The “Licznik_Mosquito_MKVTT” folder will now be in this “Dials” folder.

STEP 3
Return to the first Explorer window, and double-click on “config.txt.” (If you have file extensions hidden, it will display as “config.”) A text editor window will open (Notepad, or whatever you use). Scroll down until you find the [dials] section. You only need to manipulate the very first line. It should look like this:

[dials]
dialname=Licznik_3

Erase the 3, and type in Mosquito_MKVTT.
Now, it should look like this:

[dials]
dialname=Licznik_Mosquito_MKVTT

Notice that this is the name of the folder you copy/pasted from STEPS 1 and 2. This allows the config to recognize which dial and needle to use from the “Dials” folder.
Save the Notepad file and close its window.

STEP 4
You’re done! Test in-game to make sure all is working properly. You should have the new HUD tach on display when racing.
