Originally manufactured by Archsteel Yards in New Iapetus, the Solarflare was created as an answer to the more explorative crews, with a detachable shuttle instead of a research lab. This did cause the main sub to become less maneuverable, however to most captains not having to wait for their mining teams is worth the cost. Due to the additional costs included in detaching and refitting the research lab, the Summerflare only comes with one weapon equipped. Buyers beware!
