Your character will have a limited number of tiles that they may enter. Killing zombies allows you to unlock more tiles.
Press 'G' to show how many tiles you may unlock. Press 'N' to toggle unlocking tiles.
The number of starting tiles and tiles per kill ratios can be adjusted in sandbox settings.


A bit glitchy and jittery, but it does what it says on the tin. If I get the time/will I'll continue development but I dislike Java so fat chance.
Some bugs features are that vehicles work (but you won't be able to do much if you can't unlock your exit tile) and stairs require an extra tile at the top to walk down. Oh, and no clue if it works on multiplayer (it might? update: it doesn't).
