Alton Parker

Judge Alton Parker (1852-1926) was the 1904 US Presidential Candidate. He was a relatively obscure judge mostly notated for his neutrality and moderation. He ran a tepid and unsuccessful campaign against Theodore Roosevelt. His conservative and moderate policies alienated many of the populist Democrats, and turnout was resultingly low.
