Description
DLC patches have been merged into the main mod. Please unsub from them, and also let me know if you have any issues with your game crashing if you are using this mod without owning the culture DLCs.

Allows non-Dragon characters to use any of the character customization options regardless of their selected culture or class (i.e. Champion or Wizard King). This also affects any randomly generated NPCs including heroes and random rulers.

Does *not* unlock pantheon cosmetics or change gender/race availability of any items.

Note: this mod affects the sort orders for about every piece of clothing in the game. They are sorted in this order:
Barbarian -> Dark -> Feudal -> High -> Industrious -> Mystic -> Reaver (w/ patch) -> Primal (w/ patch) -> Godir (Wizard King) -> Misc. DLC (Expansion Pass, Pre-order, Sign-up) -> Pantheon unlocks

Additional features:
  • Lets you choose your Champion's race independent of your people's like you can with Wizard Kings
  • Unlocks an extra female Feudal outfit that is in the files but inaccessible; it's just a copy of the last male Feudal coat, but it's there; see last screenshot

NOTICE
Launching the game with this mod disabled will mess with any characters created using it, assigning them clothing that is available to them in vanilla, and these changes will persist even if the mod is re-enabled. This is true of any cosmetics mod (e.g. mods that add banners or colors), as well as mods that add other character creation content, like starting tomes and traits. For short-term tinkering, this side effect can be worked around by backing up your saves folder and restoring it when you re-activate the mods. For Steam, these are located in [Steam directory]\userdata\[your user ID]\1669000 .

Known issues:
  • Some weird sorting around the DLCs and pantheon stuff since the Tiger patch
  • Physical Form slider appears for non-leader heroes in the faction library, but selections do not persist.

Scribe of Nekoti: THis is what i want to know aswell,, otherwise the mod is not really worth it for me, because the AI and heroes look so random and mixed in appearance.

Is there a way to make sure the AI does not use these options? So I could still use them to make rulers and heroes but they would not be included in the automatic generation of characters?

Thanks so much for looking into it and fixing it. Since its an issue that shows up only on modded games I doubt it would've ever gotten an official fix

Ok, so it looks they've actually added the option on a per-character basis to disable filling empty slots with random equipment. So I've toggled that off for her and uploaded that as a fix. Assuming everything works as intended, you should see her helmet-less unless/until you unlock that halo in the Pantheon.

No worries, I appreciate the level of detail.

So, I confirmed before my initial response that she had the same blue halo with the mod disabled, and that it was what she was supposed to have according to the game files. However, you're correct that it's a pantheon unlock.

My theory is that this actually partially a vanilla bug, caused by them overlooking the issue of her not having the crown if it's not unlocked yet, and that the mod interaction is at most what's causing her to have other stuff instead.

That said, I'll see if there's something I can do about it to make the crown accessible to her even if it isn't unlocked, without making it available to the player.

I've gone back to check with only this mod active, she definitely has a headgear on. Its a different headgear depending on what other mods I may have running.

-With no mods running, she has her brown hair, no headgear/helmet/nothing visible, just hair
-With my other mods activated WITHOUT this mod, she still has her normal vanilla look
-With my other mods activated WITH this mod, she has some golden helmet on that leaves her bald.
-With nothing enabled except this mod, she gets some brown hood on.

In your screenshot she has some blue halo on, she does not have that in my game(I've also done a google/youtube search and the first vid i came across had no headgear, so i'd assume mine is the default look). my (uneducated) guess is that the blue halo is some pantheon(or modded) item that I have yet to unlock and with the item not being unlocked in my game, she gets assigned something random based on available head gear

You may have a mod conflict. Try moving this mod to the bottom of your load order.

Yes, they're not supposed to change, but I don't go out of my way to memorize or screenshot what they're supposed to look like so I can't check. Please report any time you see that happening. Will take a look at that one now.

is there a way to not change the default outfit of some pre-defined un-editable rulers? Petras Celena gets a goofy ahh helmet and is bald underneath
