Tropical Triton

Description
Planetary Terraformation Union 42 is pleased to announce the successful reclamation of one of the coldest planets in the system.

Triton has been transformed from a frozen waste into a lush tropical paradise world. Vast sprawling beeches, soaring tropical peaks, and a large flat bottomed ocean await you. The perfect world to setup your own resort or indulge in some "escapades" on the high seas.

Notes
This version of the planet is designed to provide large flat bottomed seas for the water mod.

This does not replace the vanilla planet so it is safe to add to an existing system.
The ore map is identical to the vanilla version of the planet.

Suggested Water Mod Settings:
/wcreate /wradius 1.005 /wtideheight 8
These settings are for a planet that has been spawned in with a max radius.
You may need to adjust them if you spawn it in at a different size.

Is there a non-water-mod version too?

~280m is the average depth of the ocean bottom (where the surface voxel swaps to the orange alien grass). Depending on the tide, it's just past the depth the player starts taking crush damage from pressure.

could you possibly make a variant of this that has the better stone mod ore map?
TheFool76  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 12:08pm
The planet has the same ore map as vanilla Triton.

This will not replace the vanilla planet.
