Note2: structure_solar_kiln and structure_fighter_garrison directly conflict with 5x. structure_matter_converter conflicts in spirit but should still work. To work with 5x you can comment out or delete: structure_solar_kiln, structure_fighter_garrison and structure_matter_converter and then change structure_underground_storage from foodCarryoverRatio to totalFoodMultiplierBonus and it should work.
But UCP does not make changes technology tree (replacing icons and tweaking parameters doesn’t count), mods are fully compatible.
By the way, I think that UCP mod is mandatory to use, it greatly improves the gaming experience. All my mods are compatible with it by default
