The HAMBT-55 MOD-2 (Heavy Assault Main Battle Tank 55) (Modification 2) is purpose built for fighting other armored threats at medium to long range.

Armor Composition

The frontal plate, (lower and upper), consists of 3 Subgrids, (totaling 11 blocks in thickness), and a slight airgap between each subgrid.

The side plate, (lower and upper), consists of 3 subgrids, (totaling in 10 blocks thick, including the side spacing plate), and a slight airgap between each.

The rear plate consists of 2 subgrids.




Additional Guidelines and Information

The entire vehicle is encased in a single block thick subgrid making it extremely resilient to High Explosive based threats, however it's not completely immune.

This vehicle should not be used in amphibious landings (due to it's extreme weight)

This vehicle should not be used in the presence of enemy ATGMs, however there are Chaff Dispensers on the roof of the turret, controlled by the Loader to mitigate this type of threat.

Due to it's excessive size, this vehicle should not be used in Urban/Suburban Warfare.

This vehicle will require frequent stops and refueling, (respawn it since I'm too lazy to add a refueling system), due to it's extreme hunger for fuel.

This vehicle should not be used in the presence of Enemy Aircraft, due to it's relatively weak top armor.

This vehicle is one of, if not the most armored MBTs on the workshop at the time of it's creation, (correct me if I'm wrong), so it should be able to face off against any armored threat you throw at it, (except if it's using HE).
