Description
ECS Marshal
The Marshal is a Coalition fast response sub designed to enforce control in hostile territory. They're almost exclusively used by captains for missions direct from the Coalition's high command. While unauthorized ownership of one is illegal in the Coalition, ordinary outposts won't recognize it on sight - just don't draw too much attention to yourself.

The Marshal is a small sub for solo or duo gameplay. Features two flak cannons able to be controlled within the nav console, boost jets for emergency maneuvers, and a full suite of crafting stations, including a research station. The Marshal is relatively strong for its tier, though not to the same degree as the Narwhal. It's intended that playing with 1-2 crew members will balance out its strengths.

The appearance is based on the EVE Online ship of the same name.

  • Armaments: 2x Flak Cannon, 1x Coilgun

Features:
  • Nav-Controlled Flak Cannons: The flak cannons can be controlled from the nav console by using the top button, which will locks the current velocity and allow you to aim and shoot by clicking on the nav screen. While this mode is on, the guns will fire in the direction that you're "steering." The way this originally worked had to be changed due to a bug in multiplayer.
  • Boost Jets: The Marshal has a secondary engine reserved for short bursts of propulsion, either for briefly increasing speed or applying emergency brakes. There is a drawback, though -- the sudden energy demands of the jets can only be fed through the supercapacitors, and will almost instantaneously drain them. As such, the jets should only be used if you are prepared to be temporarily unable to fight back.
  • Full Crafting Stations: The Marshal has all three fabrication stations, plus a research station. The fabricators are located under the bed, and the research station is in the terminal below the status monitor. Power to these stations can be shut off via a lever underneath the medical fabricator.

final version of this one. i have an unpublished second version i.e. marshal 2, but i never made the preview images/workshop description. might upload it soon, but not sure
