Description
Here's the third map of this self-tutorial series -- so far I've learned alot. This was originally supposed to be a 5 map series, but I'm going to stop at 3. It was a bad idea to limit myself to using the same mechanic in every map. I'm happy where the series ended in terms of difficulty. Hammer was not used in the creation of this map. Hopefully I can move on to using a bit of Hammer for my next map. Hope you enjoy this chamber.

This map uses BEEMOD v2.

Very good. Unconventional mechanics but challenging nevertheless. PS. Love your avatar neeko

Ah YES! Thanks for the quick response. This was driving me crazy. Run on red, jump on blue, smack the portal on the back wall, fly out the highest point on the back wall, bounce on the blue gel and get to the exit platform. Excellent chamber. I am sort of proud of myself for coming up with a non-conventional solution. To push the gel you must hold the cube right under the droplets until a drop glances off the cube and stays in bubble form on the floor. Then you can gently push it around or smack it hard make it splash. Also when a dropper has a bubble on the floor, it stops driopping new drops! Have a nice day!

No, I was unaware you could manually push gel. I'm not really sure how I would fix that. My solution is that you are supposed to cover the area leading up to the blue gel with red gel thus gaining the momentum necessary to hit the blue gel from the highest white panel. The raised section is intentionally short in order to push you to look for areas that can potentially provide you with more momentum. The lights on the ground will sort of lead the way for you. Let me know if it is still unclear and I can record a playthrough to send to you. Sorry about the confusion!

My solution: On the last fling I started with red gel on on of the raised sections. I put a blue portal on the target wall and and orange portal on as high as possible the back wall. I expected to run on the red gel, fly through the portal and fly out the portal high on the wall, bouncing on the blue gel. and landing on the exit platform However, no matter how hard I tried, I would land too short, far from the blue gel to bounce. So I held the cube in the dropping blobs of blue gel until I got one to stay in bubble form, Then I pushed the bubble to the spot on the floor where I had been landing shortl Presto, the jump worked, I bounced on my manually placed blue gel and flew to the exit. Surely this was not the intended soluton. Any ideas on this?

Well, this was an excellent map, but I had real trouble with the last fling. It would be great to see a walkthrough of this map. I see someone provided a link to a .dem file. How does one open/view a .dem file? My solution follows in next comment:

Fantastic, beautiful map, took me a while to figure out the jump.

Actually when i said beautifully i meant it^^ I hate maps that troll, but that one was genuily funny. I noticed the lazer before, but when i put everything into place and was about to enter the exit i totally forgot about it until suddenly BZZZ and i got thrown off the plate. Sure i raged and sweared one or two words, but in a fun way.

Hopefully it wasn't too annoying! My intention was for it to make the elevator ride more interesting as it gives you an obstacle to try to avoid by either crouching or moving to either side of the laser. Although in retrospect, it isn't all that interesting and I feel like it is one of the weaker parts of the map.
