You know how when you select a production item, "Toolbox" shows up as a buildable thing?

Wouldn't it be nice if that same thing happened for - say - chairs when selecting tables, or wires when selecting objects that require or generate power?

Well now they do! And a lot of other things too!

If you have any requests just ask. I can't promise I'll add it (especially if it's for a mod) but it never hurts to ask.

Known bugs:
1) This doesn't work when you don't own the items. For example, selecting a wall in the terrain that you haven't "claimed" will not let you build a door. I consider this not really a problem so am not looking into it.

There is no code, really. This just patches the facilities comp and linking on, well, basically everything. It also is kind of hacky in that it sets the maximum linkables to 0 ... it's really using a system in a way not fully intended ... there's not really much I can do about its behavior, so yes, you may want to remove it while testing.

Well the thing is, I use that tool to test my modlists, so with 500 mod on...I think it may just not load at all, so I'm going to need to remove this mod. It's strange that I don't remember this happening on 1.5, did the code change a lot since then?

Just tested this. Let it sit there - it took five minutes to process for me but eventually completed. I suspect that the way this mod patches things, it adds a lot of complexity that has to be processed. Be patient and let it cook! :)

For some reason, with this mod active, the 'make colony(full)' dev mod freezes the game and forces you to close it. Can you fix it?
