Description
Randomized scout logic:
assign a small ship this order and it will fly around the galaxy and scout unknown stations (unknown = for which the trades are not known to the player). It will always prioritize current sector and scout stations there. If all stations in current sector are scouted, it will move to the next closest sector with unknown stations and start over. If all stations in all sectors in range (slider option) are scouted, it will move to a random sector in range and check again. It will also scout not yet known sectors, in fact prioritize it over known sectors with the same gate distance. Each ship also checks other player ships with the same default order and skips the sectors in which another ship is already operating (has target in that sector).

This mod also features fleet logic known from my other 3 RandomX mods (assign ships of same type to defend one ship, and set up the default order of that ship to Random Scout afterwards).

bruh, just let them scout, they will refresh tradeoffers once those run out.

Hi Andro. I told you the idea make Random miner mod. If you remember me. I think You must add
checkbox for function to drop satellite near unknown station (And function with checkbox to auto buy satellites in friendly dock, your docks). (plus task to do satellite network, known stations without satellites).

yeah jump limit of 1 means it can go to the neighboring sector. You'd need to set it to 0 if you don't want to move it at all.
The way I do it though is I have a fleet of 10 scouts with jump limit of 4 and they cover pretty much the whole universe, just fire and forget.

I have a ship assigned to RandomScout and limited to 1 jump. Works great, however once there's nothing to do in that range it wanders outward instead. Then I end up with unscouted trade offers in "home sector" while the scout is doing what it wants far off. Or have I misunderstood the gate limit parameter?

p.s. also would be great to have a "home sector" parameter like your other RandomX mods instead of having to move the ship to correct sector first

Nice. The sector exclusion feature is what I was missing from the mod I was using till now. Thank you!
