Description
This is a collection of dilapidated and rusty buildings, rovers and other bits and pieces set up for my Scrapyard scenario. They're provided as a separate mod as they're likely to be quite fun to run across in any survival scenario much like any other wasteland/ruins NPC mod would.

These are all spawned using the Modular Encounters System and are intended for an engineering heavy, combat minimal playstyle.

How do i get the old wreckages to Despawn so that new ones can spawn?

Hey Splitsie, been a huge fan of the series and do enjoy the mod scenario a lot.

I'm working on storyboarding a machinima/animation based on Space Engineers, KSH have already given me blessing to use the models and textures from the game reasoning that they already provide a 3D model exporter.

I was wondering if I could use the Scrapyard concept and models in my animation as a story line? Right now one of the ideas i'm throwing about is straight-up scrapyard survival but as a narrative story rather than a Lets Play type series.

Also, @mr.westbrook, this mod does not define any of the build restrictions, this one only adds the prefabs and MES definitions to spawn them. The "Build Restrictions" mod linked in the description above is what disables the ability to build things.

Splitsie mentioned in a one of his Escape from Pertam streams a few weeks back that Nev was working on a total rework to how blocks were hidden from being constructible. I assume that's probably still a work in progress, amongst the slew of other things that need updated for Apex.

This one and the newer one, when I load them I can craft everything. I think the latest updated broke his mods. I do hope he fixes them soon and includes the latest updates.

I can not for the life of me get this mod to work. Not sure what i have done wrong but just nothing for hours.

The mod hasn't been purged and still works fine. He just relocated all of the mod files into the Scrapyard Dependency mod, which this one has set as a dependency and thus forces to load. That mod, ID 3003950722 {LINK REMOVED}, is what actually has all of the MES definitions and prefabs in it.

The data folder has only a text file in it... is something wrong with this mod? I cant get the Wreckage and Ruins to spawn!

This mod is trash, there is no reason why I should have to drive around for hours not to find anything at all or cheat to find a place to scrap. This could have been such a cool mod but instead its just a barren wasteland that offers not content whatsoever.
