Description
A fully interactive wallpaper of Arona and Plana's Work Live2D from Blue Archive. Includes headpatting, mouse tracking and voicelines. The character may also be repositioned. Plana can be enabled using the "Enable Plana" option, which is disabled by default. This option also unlocks the day/night cycle, which can be set to be automated, a fixed time of day or random at every launch.

Works best in tandem with the Blue Archive Rainmeter Suite[github.com] available for free, specifically the Sub Hubs[github.com].

The Dialog Box can be toggled to only ever be in one position or to follow the character that is speaking using the option "Organize Dialog Boxes". This is on by default. The Primary Dialog Box will never adhere to this option, and you must manually position it using Primary DialogX/Y if you move the character to keep it aligned to your liking.

If you want the mouse to be automatically tracked, you can toggle on the "Auto-Track Mouse" option under "Mouse Tracking", which must be toggled on as well for the former option to be available. When switched on, the character will follow your mouse after significant mouse activity and will stop looking when your mouse is idle for 1 second. The character will resume auto-looking after a 3 second downtime.

You can add a background music track using the BGM File parameter. Even though file navigation will explicitly filter only .webm, .ogg and .ogv filetypes due to WallpaperEngine's 'Image or Video filetype only' restriction, the wallpaper will still accept most audio filetypes (.mp3, .wav, etc.) by navigating to the directory the music file is located in, then manually writing in the filename with the correct file extension in the (File name:) box yourself (e.g. Connected Sky.mp3). If this doesn't work, .ogg still works as an audio filetype, so you can convert your file(s) appropriately.

pikmin dog, thank you for informing me of the voice update. I appreciate the offer of providing the .zip file of the changes, but I decided to take this opportunity to implement the new voicelines as an optional configuration for users to toggle instead of a direct replacement to preserve the old voices. This way, users that want to use the old voices can switch back as they desire. This option is named "Use Old Voices" which is disabled by default, so the updated voices should be active by default for all new installations going forward.

I wish you a great day as well!

Hey, just in case you weren't aware, they did an update to Arona and Plana's voice a little while back. Since I like this wallpaper so much, I recently took the time to replace the files with the new ones as well as adding a missing Arona line that was probably added in the same update. Just commenting to let you know about the new voices if you didn't and to offer to zip and send you the updated files if you'd like that.

Hope you're having a great day and thank you as always for making sure this wallpaper works!

Thank you for clarifying your question Andrey14Ser11, but I'm sorry to say that the feature you described does not exist in this wallpaper and I have no plans to add it in for the foreseeable future.

As an idea, it might be possible to emulate this behavior by using the built-in Screensaver feature of WallpaperEngine. I have not tried it myself, but it might be worth trying to see if it fits your use case. WallpaperEngine will warn you about screen burn-in for certain monitor types, so please be mindful of that when trying it out as well.

Oh wait, just realised I phrased it wrong (my english isn't the greatest). I think I meant that is there any variables for Arona/Plana to go back to an "intro" position after a specific amount of time (after being idle for 5 minutes Arona returns to humming a melody, as for example). Again, I'm sorry if my english is bad and I may have phrased something wrong.

Andrey14Ser11, idle lines should already be an implemented feature that is enabled by default. It should come in effect when Arona/Plana are in their intro state (such as Arona sleeping on the desk) after speaking their intro dialog in roughly 15-second intervals. Double-check that the "Idle lines (Refresh To Apply)" option is enabled in the wallpaper's settings. The option will be visible only when "Intro Animation" is enabled as that is a prerequisite - after confirming that, you should find the "Idle Lines" option located right below it.

Is there any point of time when this wallpaper automatically goes to the idle lines? (EG: when arona sleeps on the desk) Or is this a feature not added yet?

Wow, that was so fast! Thank you for the fix and the clarification, it seems to work perfectly now!

Thank you JodiYF for the bug report. It seems to be specific to the daytime variant where if Arona & Plana are both present there was a chance the RNG rolled a missing piece of data (which has now been added). As far as I looked, the nighttime variant had no bugs. For clarity, while Plana can show up during daytime, Arona will always be the one to greet you upon clicking (and always Plana for nighttime).

Installing the fix will require you to unsubscribe, fully close Wallpaper Engine to clear the file properly, then re-launching Wallpaper Engine and resubscribe.

Please let me know if it fixed the issue.

Hi! This is a fantastic wallpaper, thanks so much for your hard work in making it. I came to report what seems to be a bug - at the moment, if Arona and Plana are both on screen, clicking on Plana seems to make the wallpaper freeze after they both disappear, as if it's perhaps failing to bring up Plana's direct conversation mode? I can get Arona to talk face-to-face, but never Plana.

I understand it's been quite a while since there was activity here, so you may very well not wish to work on this anymore, which is totally understandable! Just thought it should be brought to your attention, assuming the error isn't on my end somehow.

Hello, producer. My pc looks prettier thanks to your work. Thank you. I would like to ask the producer. Galaxy phone Be Kyung-myeon is compatible with PC wall paper. In other words, it can be applied to mobile devices by exporting the wall paper downloaded from PC. I want Arona on my phone.:steamhappy:
