OK, I finally saw the Companion cube dropper. I have walked by it like a hundred times. For some reason, I thought there was glass in front of it.

I did indeed finish the chamber easily once I got the third cube.

There are only 2 cubes available in this section, and neither one is a companion cube. Both cubes are required to drop the red grid.

In the first, just part the masher, there is a pedestal button attached to the first cube dropper. There are 3 droppers in the second room that drop a regular cube, speed gel and exploding sphere.

I do not see any other droppers in this area. There is a square cube switch there that does not seem to do anything.

Open tube where you can grab companion cube. Didnt you see it?

I got trapped after entering the area behind the red grid that is turned off by the 2 cubes. The lift takes you up to a room that looks like you need a cube to continue, but the symbols look like there should be a cube dropper there. There is a hole with a red grid and a door at the bottom.

There are also a few cube switch platforms that do not seem to do anything.

I did not finish this map. Too bad too, as it was fun up to the point.
